When you are able to keep your employees connected, they will be more engaged and productive at work. One of the best ways to do this is to create an atmosphere where your employees have mentorship and feel that they are part of a community. They should understand the goals and visions of the business so that they can share them. Take a look at some of the ways that you can keep your employees connected.

  1. Listen to Them

It is important that your employees feel comfortable speaking their minds and contributing when they have an idea. You can still give criticism, but you need to be able to receive it as well. Make sure that conversations are professional and never deteriorate to the personal level. Criticism should always focus on the growth and goals of the company.

  1. Hire the Best People

No matter what the position, make sure that you hire the best people you can. You should surround yourself with talented people who understand where the company stands and where it is going. They should know that you are all going to work together to make it happen.

  1. Try Sharing Information on a Private Facebook Group

A great way to keep employees connected is by inviting them to a private Facebook group and sharing information this way. You can share links and announcements, and you can promote your work. You can celebrate accomplishments, and you can recognize people for their achievements. You can also share updates and tips, and encourage members to share. You can build up the community by encouraging everyone to communicate in the group.

  1. Offer Learning Opportunities

Employees are more motivated when they feel valued, and when you offer learning opportunities, they feel that they can advance. You can schedule webinars or online workshops. This allows employees to build skills together and practice brainstorming. Encourage them to share what they learn, and you can also share podcasts, blogs, books, and more that can inspire your employees. Make sure that employees know that making mistakes is a learning opportunity for everyone. They will learn to speak their minds without fear of making a mistake.
